A wonderful Ford Mustang 289 V8 4v convertible. Built in, the Motherland of Mustangs, Dearborn, Michigan, the USA and delivered to its first owner in Oklahoma City on the 3rd July 1964. This is the so-called `64 1/2 version, a very early example with several distinguishing features. The `64 1/2 had a very short production run from early March to the 30th July and the first Mustangs ever produced. This particular car has never needed a full restoration and has only 80.829 miles on the clock. A recent re-spray in ‘Wimbledon White’ and a ‘Red Crinkle’ vinyl trim lends a lovely classic look to the car. This Mustang has been factory fitted with a 4-speed manual gearbox. The bodywork is in a good condition, straight with correctly fitting body-panels. Thanks to the dry American climate the underbody is solid, original and uncorroded. The chrome details sparkle. A wonderfully executed early `64 1/2 Mustang with the correct provenance.
