The Ferrari 365 GTC/4 is the four-seater older brother of the infamous Daytona; enjoying the same engine as the GTB/4, albeit with side-draft carbs to allow for a lower bonnet design. The chassis also has a number of similarities, however this was stretched by 100 mm for extra cabin room.
There were however a number of key differences and advantages to the GTC/4 over its more well known relative, mainly being that only 500 cars were built in an incredibly short production run.
In addition, the GTC/4 on top of the extra passenger space, also benefits from power steering, air condition and self-leveling suspension; designed for passenger comfort and usability, above the more hard-edge sports cars from Ferrari at the time.
The car we are offering is an original EU example, supplied in 1972 through the official dealer in Padova, before spending much of its life in the UK.
The car sits in a very presentable, yet usable all round condition; this is a 70s V12 Ferrari that demands and wants to be driven, looking fantastic in the classic combination of Argento over Nero and complete with Classiche certification.
With Daytona values ever-rising and many other 70s 12-cylinder Ferraris appreciated by the month; the 365 GTC/4 does not only present a wonderful driving proposition, but also one with real investment potential moving forwards. When we say that it is a bargain of the highest order to be able to purchase a classic car with this kind of provenance as this kind of price we absolutely mean it, this is not an opportunity to miss.
